Objectives of assisted teleconsultation

Assisted teleconsultation is a system designed to improve access to a general practitioner for vulnerable individuals or those without a primary care physician.
In our region, the CPTS Val de Guyenne ) supports healthcare professionals in using this tool and identifying priority users.

Who is assisted teleconsultation intended for?

Assisted teleconsultation is primarily intended for the most vulnerable users.

  • For patients unable to come to your office : the home health nurse visits the patient at home and connects to the teleconsultation with the attending physician.
  • Patients with long-term illnesses who do not have a primary care physician and who are followed by doctors from the "Doctors Near You" program or by Solidarity Doctors
  • Teleconsultation with doctors from the SAS (Service d'Accès au SoinService) – Centre 15

What do I need to conduct teleconsultations?

The equipment you will need is: your computer, internet connection and headphones (stethoscope)

How to organize assisted teleconsultations?

Get in touch with the nurse of the patient concerned; she may already be trained in teleconsultation.
Contact the CPTS Val de Guyenne at 06 85 99 83 53 for a meeting and assistance with implementation for your practice and/or the nursing practice concerned.

Is it necessary to subscribe to a specific business software?

No, the teleconsultation is completely confidential. A unique video link will be provided by the nurse to connect to the teleconsultation. Data collected during the teleconsultation is not saved.

We use Hocovisio, a connected health device.

Note that assisted teleconsultation will soon be connected to a PaacoGlobule interface specific to members of the CPTS Val de Guyenne for better coordination with patients' medical records.

How much installation time should be allowed?

Demonstration via video call or at your office

Time required: 30 minutes for the demonstration + email or telephone exchanges
